Dog Appeasing Pheromone (DAP)
Dog appeasing pheromone is the synthetic analogue of the pheromone secreted by the sebaceous glands of the intermammary sulcus of lactating bitches — the chemical signal that a mother dog produces to reassure her puppies during the first weeks of nursing. In a domestic setting the same signal reduces stress-related behaviour in dogs of any age: it is the active principle behind the well-established category of “adaptil-class” calming products used for separation anxiety, travel, fireworks and veterinary visits.
LiiFoo supplies DAP as a formulation-ready emulsion concentrate and as a ready-to-use liquid for sprays, plug-in diffusers and collars. It is positioned, like the whole category, as non-drug behavioural support — it assists training and environmental management rather than acting as a sedative.
Product Range
DAP 2% Emulsion Concentrate — the standard B2B grade. Oil-in-water emulsion with a droplet size distribution controlled for reliable release from wicks and diffuser pads. Dilute with deionised water and preservative system of choice.
DAP Ready-to-Use Spray Liquid — pre-diluted, preserved and viscosity-adjusted for trigger-spray packaging. Available with or without a masking fragrance.
DAP Diffuser / Collar Grade — low-volatility adjustment for sustained release over 30 days at ambient temperature, matched to the wick and matrix used in your device.
